Similar to previous games in the Assassin’s Creed series, Revelations is also available in many different releases – there is a cheap Special Edition and a pricy package named Animus Edition. In this post WE are writing about the European CE, which for some unknown reason is called Collector Edition instead of Collector’s.
You will get a unique box, where the outer part of this container is covered by paper, while the inner part is made of plastic. In order to have a clean design, the pack is wrapped into a paper sleeve, which contains all the logos and necessary captions. The upper part of the box can be opened sideways; it is also interesting, that the Assassin’s Creed logo – what is made of very cheap plastic – can be moved up and down as well to get your hands on the contents.
Inside you can find the hardcover art book with a nice-looking foil cover. This item is an ordinary release, where you can see different pictures about characters, weapons and locations. Next piece of the package is a bonus disc held in a paper sleeve, which contains the animated short film titled Embers.
Collector Edition also includes the Assassin’s Creed: Revelations game, which comes in special black Blu-ray case with the Soundrack CD. On the game disc you can find the original Assassin’s Creed game (you will get these extras too, when you buy only the standard edition game). Downloadable contents are also part of this release: one exclusive single-player mission (Vlad The Impaler Prison) and two multiplayer characters (The Crusader, Ottoman Jester) are included.
