Star Wars: The Old Republic Collector’s Edition

The last CE of 2011 has finally arrived and WE can say it was worth waiting for. The Old Republic Collector’s Edition comes in a huge box made of thick cardboard paper, where the embossed captions and beautiful artworks are protected with a plastic sleeve.

After opening the box you can see that lots of valuable items were placed into the package. Firstly you can get your hands on the Steelbook with a matte black finish; it’s a good-looking item, decorated with embossed logos. Inside you can find the redeem codes, manual and 3 DVD discs in durable holders; the inner artwork is not missing either. The Soundtrack CD comes in an uncommon paper sleeve full embossed golden captions. Other than that there is also The Old Republic galaxy map printed on a glossy paper and a custom security authentication key for safer access to your SWTOR account. Of course, the interesting and useful downloadable contents are not missing either; you can find the following items in the package: flare gun, training drone, HoloDancer, HoloCam, STAP vehicle, mouse droid, unique in-game exclusive store.

One of the most valuable extras of the Old Republic CE is the journal of Master Gnost-Dural. Even though its design is above average, it cannot compete with the Skyrim art book. The canvas cover and gold-colored captions makes it an exclusive collectible, where beyond the great illustrations there are some documents enclosed as well.

The Darth Malgus statue comes in a separate box with a certificate of authenticity card. This figure is one of the best video game statues in 2011, where the details, used materials and overall feel are superb; even the stand is heavy enough to keep the character firmly attached. It will look beautiful on the collector’s shelf.
